Catachan Jungle Fighters — Tyranid Ambush

The piece was an opportunity to further develop my approach to composition, value structure, colour, and atmospheric storytelling, while capturing the brutal and chaotic nature of a possible Catachan engagement.

I wanted to create a strong sense of depth within the environment, using the lighting and colour relationships to guide the viewer through the scene while maintaining the aggressive, high-contrast visual language associated with Warhammer 40,000.
