Relic Castellan – Black Templar Concept Warhammer 40K

A personal Black Templar concept exploring the idea of a Relic Castellan—an elite veteran crusader tasked with carrying bulky sacred wargear into battle. I wanted to lean into the notion of burden, both physical and symbolic, with the weapon acting as a cenotaph to fallen crusades or battle brothers. A really enjoyable piece, especially as a fan of 40k and its heavier, more ritualistic design language.
